The minimum staffing pattern for a Community Solutions of Minnesota home is one or two staff during all waking hours and one overnight staff. We also provide one-to-one staffing if needed, nursing and behavioral specialist staff. All Community Solutions of MN staff is expected to receive a minimum of 12 hours of training each year. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Vulnerable Adults Law
  • Brain Injury Basics
  • Chemical Dependency
  • Individual Care and Behavioral Plans
  • Medication Administration
  • Crisis Prevention & Intervention
  • CPR
  • First Aid and Emergency Procedures

We also encourage and send staff to outside trainings as it applies to their job. Community Solutions of Minnesota feels regular training not only provides additional education but it offers its staff opportunities to explore areas of interest and promotes creativity.
